Another Malik clan member will quickly join the film company. Aadar Malik will make his acting debut with the French movie, Sun, directed by Jonathan Desoindre and created by Damien Lagogue.
Sun is presently doing, among others, rounds of global film festivals such as the Cabourg Festival. Aadar is the son of the producer and director of live events, Abu Malik, and as a musician, he had begun his journey. Unlike his brothers Anu Malik and Daboo Malik and his siblings Armaan and Amaal Mallik, who created a mark in the field of music for themselves, Aadar decided to face the camera.
Music continues a significant component of his life, of course. “In it is everybody in my family. For us, that’s the right to pass. You must understand how to play at least one musical instrument before you can be deemed a family member, “he jokes.
His wit, articulating nature and ear for music, assisted him to fine-tune his performing arts abilities and make himself a name as a stand-up comic. “I was in music earlier, but then I realized that my calling was to act. I was clear that this was a dangerous job, and my family didn’t let me feel it was just a hobby at any stage. “Aadar played at the age of 18 in his first professional game.
And at the age of 31, he has about 1,000 theater shows on his credit, performed in South America, France, etc. Fluent in English, Hindi, and French, he says, “I am thankful for the kind of exposure I got because of theatre.” Along with his experience as a performer, visiting the sets with his father when he was a kid, helped him gain knowledge about filmmaking and acting. He claims, “I knew what a shot was filming, even before I knew how to write a letter of love.” Now, Paris is beckoning, and Aadar is preparing for Sun’s premiere on July 24.
